werkstattrunde gugging
Report on Werkstattrunde GuggingSince January 2025, the werkstatt runde has been held twice a month. This open-format programme is aimed at adults who would like to explore or further develop their painting practice, regardless of prior experience. Both beginners and professional artists are welcome, bringing with them a wide range of backgrounds, inspirations, and artistic approaches.
At the heart of the programme is dedicated time for painting. Participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in their own creative process and focus entirely on their work. Whenever desired, they can receive guidance, feedback, and artistic input from artist and workshop leader Christiane Molan. With both experience and sensitivity, she supports the group by offering introductory exercises for newcomers as well as individual consultation for participants pursuing specific artistic projects.
In addition to personal guidance, the workshop series provides studio space and materials. Equally important, however, is the group setting itself. Working alongside others creates an inspiring and motivating atmosphere. The exchange of ideas, observing different artistic methods, and the open and welcoming environment all make a significant contribution to the quality of each workshop session.
Since the programme began, a wide variety of artworks have been produced. The participants’ motivations are just as diverse. Some seek relaxation and the opportunity to enter a creative flow state, while others work on specific projects, such as creating a painted gift. Others focus on abstract painting or use the workshop as a space to prepare for upcoming exhibitions.
What distinguishes the werkstatt runde is its openness: everyone is welcome to participate with their own interests, abilities, and goals. This diversity makes each workshop a vibrant, supportive, and inspiring experience for all involved.
