Alongside the Walla show august walla.! universe-end in 2012, the exhibition gugging favorites.! showed art highlights from Gugging and hence exemplary works by the companions of August Walla. Represented, among others, by a picture by Rudolf Horack (1915-1986), who structured and filled in his faces in a few lines. The round eyes, the always oval face, which he wrote on with his names, numbers and the note “in Mannswörth”. Two intense and direct portrayals of women—Blonde Frau and Nackte Frau mit rotem Haar—by Johann Hauser from the series of three likenesses of women from 1986. Heinrich Reisenbauer, who meticulously depicts his motifs in rank and file and lends each of his yellow umbrellas individuality as he does so. Works by Josef Bachler, Anton Dobay, Johann Fischer, Franz Kamlander, Johann Korec, Philipp Schöpke, Oswald Tschirtner and the “younger generation” of the Gugging Artists with Johann Garber, Franz Kernbeis, Arnold Schmidt, Günther Schützenhöfer, and Karl Vondal.
