On this creative Sunday, we will alter, overpaint, and transform existing images or materials. Many artists work with the transformation of found images or materials, such as Leopold Strobl, whose works can currently be seen in the anniversary exhibition. He redraws photographs from daily newspapers, turning them into something entirely his own. Other artists also frequently rework images or photographs using collage, or by combining collage with overpainting, such as Asger Jorn or Arnulf Rainer.
