where is the mind? where is it?

Theatre maker Katharina Kummer brings together seasoned art professionals and complete amateurs in her travelling spectacle. The “Mystery Plays” are a theatrical method developed by Kummer in a border village in Lower Austria, which has since travelled further. They revolve around a recurring mythical core, but each edition is newly created and tailored to the place where the swarm of Mystery Players lands.

In Gugging, we invite you to a magical walk — a requiem for the fine arts. We dance one last time around the old question of how much madness belongs to art, what these terms even mean, what source we draw from, or whether it merely haunts us. Where is the mind? Where is it? And does the audience even exist?
