There is an elevator available for those who require one. Please inform our staff at the front desk. They will be happy to help you. Reduced admission für people with special needs.

Entrance Prices

Regular: 9 EUR, reduced: 8 EUR, students: 4,50 EUR, children under 7: free.

Family Tickets

museum gugging supports families. Family tickets, for two adults and two children under 18 years of age, can be obtained for the price of 18 EUR.

 

Parking

Follow the driveway along the left-hand side of the museum and you will find parking places at the backside of the building.

 

Directions

By car:
From Vienna: Take the B14 expressway to Klosterneuburg. Continue in the direction of Tulln for ca. 6 km via Kierling to Maria Gugging. After the town sign “Maria Gugging” turn right on the roundabout and follow the signs.

By bus:
From Vienna: Take the U4 subway to the end station Wien-Heiligenstadt. Transfer to Bus 239 or the IST Austria Shuttle (TIP: weekdays, duration 20 min.) and travel to the stop Maria Gugging IST Austria.

Museums Shop

The Museum Shop offers a rich variety of items: from extravagant ceramics and textiles to jewellery by young Austrian designers.

Our selection of books on Art Brut is a special highlight: You will find a range of recent publications about Art Brut as well as illustrated volumes, rare first editions, and antiquarian books. There are also catalogues and other literature related to the current exhibitions. Furthermore, there is a fine selection of playfully designed children’s books.

Come and visit us! You can also shop here on Sundays and holidays and without a museum entrance ticket.

the café bistro am campus will only be open on Sundays, 11 am to 4 pm.

Seating Areas

In the exhibition spaces there are a number of seating elements – some of which have been designed by the Artists of Gugging.

 

Bags, Food & Drinks

All bags larger than DIN A4 cannot be taken into the exhibition spaces due to safety reasons. Backpacks are also forbidden. It is not permitted to consume food and drinks in the museum, only in the lounge area. Your personal possessions can be stowed in our cloakroom and the lockers.

WiFi

Guests are welcome to use our WiFi connection free of charge. A password is not required.

 

 

Events
