Masks are fascinating—they allow us to become someone else, to hide, or to conceal something. In many cultures and on various occasions, masks play an important role. In this workshop, we dive into the world of masks and find inspiration in examples from art and history books. A special highlight are the unique masks created by an artist from the atelier gugging, which we will look at together.
Afterwards, we create our own masks: using colors, paper, feathers, trims, fabrics, and many other materials from our supply box, you can let your imagination run free. Whether colorful, mysterious, or playful—each mask becomes a unique piece.
